pendekatan Model Pengukuran Rasch.

A Framework for Integrating Green Highway Performance Data with the Carbon Footprint Calculator in Malaysia
Highway concessionaires in Malaysia spend considerable assets in collecting, analysing and controlling different forms of data during highway projects’ life cycle. Considering this massive investment, nowadays the data use and information system reliability is becoming the key concern in terms of delivering value to consumers as opposed to the amount generated. The data generated is extensive and heterogeneous. This paper provides a new paradigm for integrating green highway performance data with carbon footprint data for green highway assessment. This framework is used to improve the active use of data in the generation of information and to assist comprehensively in decision-making at all levels of management. The network approach used in this study is the main component for interlinking data with knowledge and decisions, identifying the parameters of data integration for green highway assessment, determining the criteria data for integration, and assessing the overall performance of data usage. Real-time green highway data scenarios are used to demonstrate the applicability of this framework. A new monitoring performance measure called the MyGHI-Dashboard is proposed to control green highway assessment processes and evaluate the level of data usage, which will serve as a green highway performance scorecard. Through data-driven insights, this new paradigm can be used as a benchmarking model by highway authorities to make efficient and accurate decisions. This study is expected to become the central reference to mitigate the challenge associated with the use of highway performance data in real-time for Malaysian highway development
Manifestation of work-life balance in the Malaysian banking workforce: Transformational leadership the potent enabler
Baby Boomers are soon reaching their retirement and the workforce vacancies will inevitably occupied by the Xers and Millennials. The two younger cohorts are drastically different from their senior echelon where work-life balance is of utmost important to them. Transformational leadership is claimed as the potent enabler to the practice of work-life balance. Consequently, this study aimed to examine the extent of the relationship between the two. Questionnaires were distributed to two domestic banks. Findings reported the relationship between transformational leadership and work-life balance. No differences, however, are shown between demographic profiles of gender, marital status and age about work-life balance.© 2016. The Authors. Towards the Development of an Adoption Model for E-Government Services in Developing Countries
E-government services have become powerful tools in government organizations by offering different information instantly and effectively. Specifically, information and communication technologies have become very useful tools in developing the ability of staff to accomplish jobs effectively and efficiently. Unlike developed countries which face only few issues in the adoption of e-government services, developing countries encounter several adoption problems from the stakeholders’ point of view. Government-to-employee (G2E) is one aspect of e-government that covers activities and services that transpire between government units and their workers. This paper identifies the factors that improve the adoption of e-government services by employees in developing countries. The selected success factors (website quality, awareness, computer-self-efficiency, IT workforce capability and training) extended with Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) – an extensively used model. The final conceptual model is proposed and presented in this paper

This study aimed at investigating the establishment of specific mechanism that may help investors to rationalize investment decision based on the extracted financial indicators from financial statements. The study utilized a questionnaire as a major instrument to collect the needed information and data in order to achieve the study's objectives The sample consisted of 76 participants selected randomly from Jordanian banks. Results revealed that 64% of the participants do not participate in investment decisions. This indicates that investment decisions are restricted in a certain personnel. Furthermore, indicators from income statements are used indeed in rationalizing investment decisions by bank in Jordan. Finally, operation revenues were the most used means in rationalizing investment decisions. Keywords: financial indicators, financial statements, investment decisions, the Jordanian commercial bank
Jawi character recognition using the trace transform
The Trace transform, a generalisation of the Radon transform, allows one to construct image features that are invariant to a chosen group of image transformations. In this paper, we used some features, which are invariant to affine distortion, generated by the Trace transform to discriminate between Jawi characters. The process consists of tracing an image with straight lines, along which certain functionals of the image function are calculated, in all possible orientations. For each combination of functionals we derived a function of orientation of the tracing lines that is known as an object signature. If the functionals used have some predefined properties, this signature can be used to characterise the character in an affine way. We demonstrated the usefulness of the derived signature and compared the result of character recognition with those obtained by using features based on affine moment invariants. Experiments using the Trace transform produced decent results for the printed and handwritten Jawi character recognitions that are invariant to affine distortion.Keyword: Affine moment invariant; Jawi character recognition; trace transfor
